JSA’s PT6 engine rigging comes with 35 years of aeronautic experience and FAA certified engineer quality

Rigging an aircraft’s engine to the body is integral to the engine installation process.

JSA‘s engineers PT6 rigging must be done with the obsessive care and perfection. Turbine engine rigging needs to be precise – especially with multi-engine craft – or they won’t function harmoniously. If one engine is not rigged like the others it may under or overperform causing other areas of the craft to compensate. This causes a shift in power level positions that cause a craft to veer.

Rigging PT6 engines is a complex process that requires not only the right tools but experience, in order to feel the craft on a visceral level. Engines must deliver equal torque in forward and reverse operation or they’ll create a disconnect between the pilot and the sky.

With over 35 years of history in experienced engineering, JSA’s PT6 field maintenance offers a full list of services is available anywhere they’re necessary: troubleshooting, vibration analysis, in-field repair, hot section inspection, borescope inspections, etc. We also keep detailed records of our clients’ crafts to ensure they receive preventative maintenance to ensure our clients never get stranded far from home.
